Mineral water is made from mineral spring that contains various minerals such as salts and Sulfur compounds. Mineral water may be effervescent due to contained gases. Today people, in general, prefer mineral water to normal water which is not purified. Keeping in view, the health of the students, Tirumala Engineering College provides crystal clean mineral water to the students during college hours.
Tirumala Engineering College has equipped with a good cooperative stores. A Cooperative stores is located in the college campus to provide stationary and books for the students at concessional rates.
A gym, short for gymnasium, is a covered location for gymnastics, athletics and gymnastics services. They are commonly found in athletic and fitness centers and as activity and learning spaces in educational institutions. Tirumal Engineering College has provided gym as an indoor facility which is also slang for fitness center. These gymnasia also had teachers of wisdom and philosophy. The students of TEC can avail its services during their leisure in the morning and evening respectively.
A dispensary is an office in an educational institution that provides medication and medical supplies. We are pleased to say that Tirumal Engineering College provides a well furnished dispensary for providing medicine for students. It provides first aid to the students in time of emergency. A nurse takes care of the dispensary and she attends the emergency situation at any time. A doctor is separately appointed to visit the college daily at 4 p.m.
Solar energy is radiant light and heat form the sun that harnessed using a range of ever evolving technologies such as solar heating photo-voltaic and artificial photo synthesis. It is an important source of renewable energy and its technologies are broadly characterized as either passive solar or active solar, depending on how they capture the solar energy. One of the projects made by our college student is the solar energy arranged in Tirumala Engineering College garden that has not only impressed the people in and around the college campus but has inspired many students to take up such lively projects for their part of project work.
Our TEC campus provides exclusive Deluxe Guest House for Outside Faculty, Trainers and Industrial Personalities who visit the College.
Yoga can both prevent disease and helps one recover from it. Yoga improves one’s body flexibility, builds muscle strength, perfects the body posture, prevents cartilage and joint break downs. Similarly, Meditation assists one to drive away one’s emotional problems of daily life. We are happy to say that Tirumal Engineering College has allotted a separate room for Yoga and Meditation. Students and staff are allowed to practice yoga and meditation session during 4 – 6 p.m. everyday. As a part of Yoga and Meditation program, Art of Living classes are arranged for both students and faculty twice in a month.
Canteen facility is available in Tirumala Engineering College campus itself where traditional,delicious and sumptuous food is served to the students during lunch hour as well as evening time. It is a multi-cuisine mess serves varied and nutrition food.
Most of the states in India depended on rain for harvesting. It is the main water source for harvesting. Due to indiscriminate development and rapid urbanization, exposed surface for soil has been reduced drastically. No one is realizing that rain water harvesting is natural and healthy. TEC adopted rain water harvesting. It is the process of augmenting the natural filtration of rainwater into the underground formation by some artificial methods. Through this process, water collected from rain is stored and used for drinking, domestic purpose and also for organic farming.
Organic formic is an alternative agriculture system which originated in the 20th century in reaction to rapidly changing forming practices. It relies on fertilizers of organic origin such as compost, manure, green manure and bone meal and places emphasis on techniques such as crop rotation and companion planting. Tirumala Engineering College implements organic forming in a separate land with different varieties of vegetables and leafy vegetables which are used for college hostel students.

Health club creates awareness regarding health by educating the students in different types of food like junk food and fast food compared to home made food. The prime motto in starting health club in our organization is to educate the students to practice healthy diet in their daily life.
Cultural club plays a vital role in every educational institution as it provides an opportunity for both students as faculty to participate in various programs. Faculty recognizes the students who are interested in participating in various cultural events and are given encouragement to enhance their artistic skills. Tirumala Engineering College has provided a separate room for conducting the club activities in fruitful manner.
It is true that communication skills in English play a vital role in the life of the students in this highly competitive world. As the engineering education it is linked with corporate world where the employees are supposed to make frequent interaction with the employees of different sectors, fluency in their communication is essential for B.Tech graduates. To meet this target, engineering students should have a regular practice in communication skills practice activities. Hence, Tirumala Engineering College has initiated TEC Talk Show that has become a platform for the students to have frequent practice in English communication. TEC Talk Show includes various interesting speaking activities like, Group Discussions, Debates, Just a Minute sessions, Elocution competition etc. to enhance the communication skills of the students.
A digital library has been provided to give training to the students in the latest technology and soft skills. Students can access to a large number of E-books, journals, core subject books, research oriented books through digital library.
EPlus Club is launched at TEC in 2012. It is the club started in entire state by ‘The Hindu Daily’. Every week either on Monday/Tuesday, it publishes the topic that to be discussed in the entire week. The coordinators of E Plus club take the initiation and make the students to discuss on the topics given. The purpose of this club is to develop communication skills and soft skills.
Project is one which enables the students to convert their theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge. Projects are really essential for any kind of education as they provide opportunity to the students to bring out their creativity. As part of B.Tech course of the students, Tirumala Engineering College encourages the students to take up lively projects that bring out the innovative ideas of the young graduates. One of the projects made by our college student is the solar energy arranged in Tirumala Engineering College garden that has not only impressed the people in and around the college campus but has inspired many students to take up such lively projects for their part of project work.
It is a club established to help the poor students and also to meet the sudden needs of the faculty and students who come across with unexpected incidents. It has been working effectively since the inception of the college. Many students approached TEC Helping hands for financial support. In case of need, financial support is also be given to the students who come from outside.
